Rare Two Interconnected Japan Law Twins Quartz 4.5g

This is a truly rare occurrence! This unique specimen exhibits two, interconnected quartz Japan Law Twins. Presents with early stages of reverse scepter growth. Shorter side of larger JLT is not broken, rather it exhibits a sort of chisel form and complex growth. Not many available like this one! This is an unusual thumbnail piece in a Perkins box* that presents with terrific, albeit very unusual form and luster on the faces of the terminations.  .96" x .86" x .57" or 24.4mm x 21.9mm x 14.6mm. Close examination reveals that the structure near the apex of each termination has fascinating protrusions of quartz that include stepped growth. 5 grams.

Only the tiniest bruising is evident, almost imperceptible unless viewed under magnification, and considered common for these specimens from this more recent discovery of Japan Law Twins from Madagascar. When considering the exceptional form, clarity, quality, and less common occurrence, this is truly choice and rare material.

.96" x .86" x .57" or 24.4mm x 21.9mm x 14.6mm.

* This rare, smaller size example of a Quartz Japan Law Twin specimen will be a terrific addition to your thumbnail mineral collection or to give to another mineral enthusiast. Will be shipped in a new Perkins box.

Source / location: Andranotokana Massif, Andilamena District, Alaotra-Mangoro, Madagascar
