This is a terrific Pink Halite exhibiting well defined stepped and hoppered faces on the formation of cubic crystals.  The crystals have a nice luster and present on all sides of the piece.  2.13" x 1.97" x 0.99" or 54.2mm x 50.1mm x 25.2mm.  Fascinatingly, this type of Halite has a natural, profoundly pink color that is the result of the presence of ancient algae, iron oxide, and magnesium. The color, form and condition of this fine piece are representative of a higher quality specimen of Pink Halite.  39 grams.
