Always 100% natural, never treated.  This is an excellent, larger size, quality Pink Amethyst Crystals Geode specimen with multiple double terminated crystals. 4.08" x 3.12" x 2.11" or 103.7mm x 79.3mm x 53.8mm deep.  The most prominent, beautiful feature of this fine Pink Amethyst specimen is the raised stack of crystals near the center of the pocket that includes multiple double terminated crystals, one perched right on top of the formation!  Fascinatingly, the top double terminated crystal has another tiny crystal beginning to grow out from it. There are both satin and lustrous faces to the crystals in this specimen, on the larger prismatic and smaller secondary growth druzy-like crystals, with the highest sparkle emanating from the smaller, double terminated crystals. The overall oval shape of this geode specimen is very aesthetic. The darker pink color of some of the crystals is representative of a high quality Pink Amethyst Crystals specimen. Color
As documented by many peer reviewed studies and publications, including The Mineralogical Record, the darker the Pink Amethyst crystals, the more they are considered by many mineral specimen collectors, and the miners that find them, as higher in quality.  Though color is of highest regard, it does not solely define the grade or quality of each specimen as a whole. With that stated, we feel that when giving description with accuracy, the description of Pink Amethyst specimens must reference the possible variable color or intensities of pink hues that may be present; pink, pale lilac-pink, zoned peachy-pink, mauve-pink, deep dark pink, and even an almost red-pink. Varying levels of Hematite result in the presenting of varying intensities of pink color in Pink Amethyst.
