Chrysocolla is what is frequently referred to as a secondary mineral of copper, in that it contains copper.  The beautiful colors of Chrysocolla may be various hues of blue, green, and brown.  The rich, sparkling blue-green varieties of Chrysocolla are also known under the name "Gem Silica". Chrysocolla is often found with or near Malachite and Azurite.  The name for Chrysocolla is derived from the Greek words chrysos and kolla, meaning "gold" and "glue". Ancients used Chrysocolla as an agent to assist in successful soldering with gold.

Metaphysical Properties:

Lily Mine Chrysocolla, the stone of peace, compassion and gentle forgiveness,  presents combined with the powerful amplification of Quartz var. Chalcedony.  This combo brings into focus elevated rejuvenation, and a greater sense of a relaxed awareness of the opportunity for greater confidence in all of life's experiences.  Looking for a stone that helps with communication and teaching? Chrysocolla is a great choice.
