This is fascinating, unusual growth rhombohedral Calcite exhibiting a sloping, flared looking presentation, wider at the faces and termination while narrower near the base with atypically structured crystals at a 90 degree angle for an overall intriguing boot shaped specimen.  When exposed to UV light this fine specimen fluoresces, glows a pleasing pinkish-orange.  Interesting, stepped-like growth on the faces and facets of the crystals for a cool textured appearance.  Complex, clean edges on the largest crystal. Good luster. large, focal calcite crystal has no damage. As might be expected, there are some some nicks and scuffing to the flattened rhombohedral crystals near the base of the specimen.
