This is a sensational, glassy specimen of lustrous, well formed Golden Barite crystals on Dolomite matrix from Peru. 60grams; 2.39" x 1.54" x 1.58" 

 The majority of the well formed tabular, yellow-gold crystals are wonderfully intact.  A delightful miniature cabinet specimen. The overall presentation is that of a sensational cluster of blade-like, angular window pane, barite crystals. It is common for Barite of this type to have some of the crystals chipped; this specimen has been carefully selected to present with very minimal imperfections or dings. The Dolomite matrix base has been trimmed flat to be self standing for optimal display. We photographed this fine Barite specimen in the same light with two different background colors; a lighter, neutral background and a black background to show a variance of how the buttery crystals may present where you display it.
