Agate Gorgeous Patterns Crystalline Pocket Polished Asni Morocco 234g

This is an outstanding, quality Moroccan Agate specimen, polished on one side, that presents with banding and sparkling, crystalline center growth and pocket.  4.40" x 2.79" x 1.25" or 111.8mm x 70.9mm x 31.7mm. Some of the excellent features of this agate include detailed, layered banding and the appearance of rarer pseudomorph agate, or stick agate occurrences on each end of the piece.*  Another fascinating attribute of this excellent example of a Moroccan Agate is the translucency and transparency, i.e. the clearer to murky areas of the specimen that give the appearance that many of the beautiful structures, orbicular and mossy, are floating and immersed within this quartz var. chalcedony agate. Along with the sparkly pocket of crystals, the colors of the designs and structures vary from yellow to cream to pink and red. The polish on this specimen is terrific.   234 grams.

* Pseudomorph Agate or Stick Agate formation are a curious occurrence. Creation of these agates occurs when agate, quartz var. chalcedony, fills a cavity within a rock that already contains mineral formations throughout. This develops the features of stick-like formations that are surrounded by agate formed as a pseudomorph after aragonite, calcite or other crystalline minerals.

 4.40" x 2.79" x 1.25" or 111.8mm x 70.9mm x 31.7mm.

Agate is primarily a microcrystalline quartz var. chalcedony most frequently found within volcanic and metamorphic rocks.  Moroccan Agates often feature many different formations, patterns, structures and an incredibly vast number of colors.

Metaphysical considerations:  Moroccan agate is considered a wonderful, spiritually awakening tool for elevating consciousness and revealing new opportunities and good change.  Looking for motivation and harmonizing balance?  Moroccan Agate is a great choice.
