This is an excellent, primarily pyramidal Hematite, Goethite Pseudomorph after Marcasite, Pyrite also known as a Prophecy Stone. 22 grams. 1.18" x 1.14" or 30mm x 29mm. This fine example presents with a fascinating sort of spikey, overall pine cone symmetry with pyramidal forms, some growing intermingling. From other angles there is a flower-like presence to this piece. Every one of these truly unique "Prophecy Stones" inspire curiosity, wonder and imagination.
