Always 100% natural, never treated.  This is a fascinating, quality, Pink Amethyst Crystals Geode specimen featuring a beautiful rosette formation, double terminated crystals perched near the center of the pocket and contrasting iron / manganese imbued calcite crystals.  2.67" x 2.66" x 2.22" or 67.9mm x 67.7mm x 56.3mm. Excellent luster, a fine shine emanates from the faces of the crystals in this specimen. The darker pink crystals are representative of higher quality Pink Amethyst. Near the wonderfully radiating rosette formation are intermingling, well formed double terminated crystals. Terrific transparency and translucency to many of the Pink Amethyst crystals in this geode. A wall or bridge-like structure of secondary growth Pink Amethyst crystals grew alongside the rosette formation, appearing to protect the rosette ball. Plenty of sparkle is also evident evident where the smaller secondary growth crystals are closer to the edge or rind. The majority of the terminations of the crystals in this specimen are excellent. ^^***See notes about color and formation below. 118 grams. As documented by many peer reviewed studies and publications, including The Mineralogical Record, the darker the Pink Amethyst crystals, the more they are considered by many mineral specimen collectors, and the miners that find them, as higher in quality.  Though color is of highest regard, it does not solely define the grade or quality of each specimen as a whole. With that stated, we feel that when giving description with accuracy, the description of Pink Amethyst specimens must reference the possible variable color or intensities of pink hues that may be present; pink, pale lilac-pink, zoned peachy-pink, mauve-pink, deep dark pink, and even an almost red-pink. Varying levels of Hematite result in the presenting of varying intensities of pink color in Pink Amethyst. 
Crystal Formation - The condition of the facets, faces and terminations (tips / points) of the crystals is also is a very important factor when determining the overall quality of any Pink Amethyst Geode Crystals specimen.  The clarity and characteristics of the crystals is another major consideration when determining quality too.
