Rosasite with Hemimorphite on Limonite Ojuela Mine 51g
This is a beautiful Rosasite with Hemimorphite on Limonite minerals specimen from the Ojuela Mine, Mapimi Municipality, Durango, Mexico. 2.46" x 1.66" x .96" or 62.5mm x 42.4mm x 24.5mm. The botryoidal or mammillary Rosasite presents predominantly with an excellent, deep dark blue, blue-green color and appears embellished with the superb placement of a sparkling cluster of hemimorphite crystals near the center of the Rosasite formation. Rosasite is a less common mineral that is found in the secondary oxidized zone of copper-zinc deposits. This specimen exhibiting the association of typically very small spheroidal Rosasite with Hemimorphite is a fine collector piece. 51 grams.
