Milky Way Fluorite
Fluorite from the Milky Way Pocket that was discovered at the Diana Maria mine, Frosterly, Weardale, County Durham, England in 2020.
This Fluorite is a camelian / changes colors indoor/verses outdoors. UV and daylight reactive, dark green / black color inside and a blue/purple color outside.Â
It is called Milky Way because of its intensely deep purple color, almost black or dark green with speckled milky white patches of white Fluorite, reminiscent of stars set within the blackness of our Universe. The color change of Milky Way Fluorite is incredible between indoor and outdoor lighting. Indoor lighting it may present as black or almost dark green with white dusting. Under UV light it fluoresces a bright lilac and in natural daylight it turns to a stunning dark blue / purple color. Sourced from Frosterley, Weardale Co. Durham, England. Diana Maria Mine, Milky Way pocket.
