This is a beautiful light green, lustrous Spodumene var. Kunzite transparent / translucent specimen from Pakistan that is often referred to as "Hiddenite". 7 grams. .94" x .52" x .63" or 24mm x 13.2mm x 16.2mm. This crystal is a higher quality example that presents with a nice termination and natural etching. 

*** Prevalent thought amongst mineralogists is that this crystal is truly a green form of Spodumene var. Kunzite, and that the light green color in this variety of Kunzite is the result of iron rather that chromium, and needs further scientific study to be conclusive.  The usually small "Hiddenite" crystals found in North Carolina, US have been proven scientifically to get their varying degrees of green hues from chromium.
