This is an exceptional, intricately patterned, quality Moroccan Agate specimen with a polished face that presents with banding, fortification, orbs, and small crystalline vugs or pockets of sparkling chalcedony druzy.
Some of the excellent features of this Moroccan Agate include highly detailed, layered banding, and concentric rings around the orbs scattered throughout the specimen.
The white quartz var. chalcedony areas in this Moroccan Agate that present like cotton balls and flowers have a plume-like characteristic.
We love the complexity of the structures in this terrific Moroccan Agate, including the fascinating crystalline pockets and wildly patterned banding.
Another fascinating attribute of this excellent example of a Moroccan Agate is the translucency and transparency, i.e. the clear areas of the specimen that give the appearance that many of the beautiful structures, including botryoidal structures, are floating and immersed within the agate.
The contrasting colors presented in this fine Moroccan Agate add to the overall beauty of the specimen.
