With that stated, we feel that when giving description with accuracy, the description of Pink Amethyst specimens must reference the possible variable color or intensities of pink hues that may be present; pink, pale lilac-pink, zoned peachy-pink, mauve-pink, deep dark pink, and even an almost red-pink. Varying levels of Hematite result in the presenting of varying intensities of pink color in Pink Amethyst.
Crystal Formation - The condition of the facets, faces and terminations (tips / points) of the crystals is also is a very important factor when determining the overall quality of any Pink Amethyst Geode Crystals specimen.
