Crown of Dolomite on Fluorite Chalcopyrite Spain 115g

This is simply outstanding cubic yellow-honey color Fluorite with excellent zoning and fantastic luster, made even more special with the abundance of superbly formed saddle and butterfly fanning Dolomite crowning the piece. Gorgeous! 115 grams. 2.24" x 1.99" x 1.47" or 57mm x 50.7mm x 37.4mm  Glassy, primarily transparent, cubic yellow Fluorite with stepped structure. A light peppering of Chalcopyrite and minor calcite is present on some of the fluorite.  Note the beautiful banding ( when viewing the underside structure ) and UV reactive, fluorescing qualities of this piece. Here is a truly terrific piece to add to your collection or to give to the mineral enthusiast in your family.

This beautiful piece exhibits a wonderful mingling of minerals, with the very icy yellow fluorite as a standout attraction. Some minor bruising, however this piece is still a representative of a higher quality specimen.
