* Crystal Habit                                                                                                                    The crystal habit of Apophyllite is often considered as complex. Apophyllite crystals may present tabular, prismatic or pseudocubic. Pseudocubic crystals are cubic in appearance, however, are actually more rhombohedral, often presenting with beveled, triangluar corners. It is not uncommon for prismatic Apophyllite crystals, like those present in this specimen, to also present with beveled or flat topped terminations (flat tips) in addition to sharp, pointed terminations.
